November: Stuff of the Month
November showed up and we’re ready for the food… and the pie.
While everyone else is arguing about when to start playing holiday music, we're over here making turkey burgers with goat cheese mornay and frying up vegan turkey dinners like it's our job (because it is). Whether you're here for MKE Vegan Week, prepping for Casserole Call, or just hungry—we've got you covered.

Vegan Compact Turkey Dinner
Featured for Milwaukee Vegan Restaurant Week (Nov 3-9)
Thanksgiving, but make it vegan and deep-fried. We're talking house-made vegan turkey, sage stuffing, and chive mashed potatoes all compacted together, beer-battered, fried golden, and smothered in country gravy. Served with our daily veg because balance. It's comfort food engineering at its finest.
As Wendy Mireles of Café Corazón (and the visionary behind MKE Vegan Week) puts it: "We want guests to love our vegan offerings because they are delicious and just happen to be vegan." This dish? It's exactly that.

Sandwich
Hot Brown Turkey Burger
Kentucky's famous Hot Brown sandwich decided to become a burger, and we're not mad about it. House-made turkey patty gets the royal treatment with bacon, tomatoes, and a goat cheese mornay sauce that's basically liquid gold. On a sesame seed bun because classics deserve respect. You’ll gobble this one right up pun intended.

ENTRÉE
Autumn Risotto
This risotto is what happens when fall ingredients throw a dinner party. Creamy acorn squash purée mingles with Italian sausage crumbles, brandy-kissed mushrooms, crisp apples bring the sweet, and fried sage makes everything fancy. Arborio rice holds it all together in a warm, comforting hug.

Bubblegum Martini
Don't let the name fool you—this is a grown-up drink. Wheatley vodka meets our house grenadine and velvet falernum, with lime juice and Peychaud's bitters keeping it sophisticated. Pink, fun, and surprisingly complex.

Whiskey Sour
Yeah, you read that right. Jack Daniel's Blackberry gets weird with Cynar (that's artichoke liqueur), balanced by our ginger syrup and fresh lemon. It shouldn't work, but it absolutely does.
